About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced forensic accountant to join a highly successful and growing Forensic & Investigation Services team. The successful candidate will enjoy challenging, interesting, and rewarding work across a broad range of assignments involving forensic accounting, fraud and conduct investigations, and disputes.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of investigation and dispute cases.
  • Support the development of case strategies and work plans for various complex matters.
  • Gather and critically assess evidence; liaise with third parties as needed.
  • Forensically analyse financial information and other relevant evidence.
  • Prepare high-quality written reports and outputs for formal use, including legal proceedings.
  • Maintain detailed workpapers and well-organised evidence and case files.
  • Support ongoing business development initiatives and manage/build relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Coach and support junior members of the team.
  • Contribute to the financial and commercial management of the unit, including budgeting/forecasting, invoicing, and debtor management.

About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 2-3 years PQE.
  • Experience in forensic accounting and investigation is essential.
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as forensic accounting, is desirable.
  • Capacity to analyse and assimilate large volumes of complex material and quickly identify key issues.
  • Experience in managing a team while simultaneously delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client base.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to foster trusted relationships with clients and intermediaries, combined with strong commercial acumen and expertise.
  • A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
