The Role
Our client, a leading firm in Wexford, is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join their Audit & Assurance department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to take on a leadership role within a growing team.
As Audit Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries.
- Take responsibility for successfully delivering audit and accounting engagements within agreed timelines, ensuring seamless client and team communications.
- Plan the execution and finalisation of audit assignments while maintaining the highest standards.
- Lead, manage, motivate, and coach members of the audit team to ensure excellence and career development.
- Build and maintain proactive working relationships with clients, ensuring year-round engagement and satisfaction, not just during the audit process.
- Research and resolve technical queries from clients.
- Deliver top-quality auditing services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Oversee the successful completion of audit engagements from start to finish.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- ACA or ACCA qualifications.
- 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Previous supervisory, team lead, or managerial experience.
- A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong technical skills.
- Awareness of business trends and emerging industry developments.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to critically assess and analyse information.
